The ideas of Proudhon, Bakunin and Kropotkin seem to have been buried by history, but today they are regathering their strength. Numerous libertarian flags fly at anti-capitalist protests, the anarchists' axioms appear in contemporary debates on neoliberalism and ecology and the number of websites disseminating their principles is multiplying. The anarchists' struggle against power, oppression and the state are recognised in the works of Chomsky, Foucault, Deleuze and Bayer as well as vanguard artists and the punk movement.
